JOB ROLE
The company's direct sales organization in the United States is led, supervised, and optimized by the Director/Senior Director of Sales Operations.
In order to improve, streamline, and direct enterprise-wide SaaS sales revenue growth, this senior-level position will work with current sales leadership to lead, mentor, develop, and carry out strategic sales operations. This includes planning, forecasting, budgeting, and putting sales reporting, tools, and processes into place.
In order to make sure the sales organization is operating effectively while hitting revenue and margin goals, this crucial function integrates strategy, analytics, process improvement, leadership, and training.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Oversee the direct sales team, provide performance management, goal-setting, and leadership.
- Create and implement SaaS sales tactics to increase revenue, boost sales effectiveness, and guarantee top-notch SaaS solution delivery.
- Establish revenue targets and sales goals in collaboration with corporate leadership.
- Create and optimize systems, policies, and procedures related to sales.
- To increase productivity and efficiency, implement and optimize sales enablement technology, such as the CRM system (Salesforce). Make sure that Salesforce's sales data is of the highest caliber, accurate, and consistent.
- Encourage the creation and setting of sales goals while keeping an eye on results.
- Track deal cycles, win rates, and churn rates.
- In order to maximize customer onboarding, adoption, and long-term value realization, sales, professional services, and finance should coordinate their operations.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Preferably, a bachelor's degree or comparable experience
- More than ten years of experience in a SaaS company's sales operations or sales leadership
- Over ten years of experience selling to direct and channel partners in a SaaS company
- Shown ability to run a direct SaaS sales organization with quantifiable growth in revenue and delivery
- Extensive knowledge of SaaS sales operations procedures, such as pipeline analysis, sales enablement, and forecasting
- Strong business and financial sense, as well as the capacity to model, evaluate, and convey complicated data
- Practical knowledge of analytics and CRM platforms. Power BI and Salesforce are advantages.
