Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Basingstoke, are looking for an experienced HR Adviser to join their team and play a crucial role in their Human Resources operations.         

Position: HR Adviser
Rate: £20.50 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (December 2025) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• Report into the Employee Relations Specialist to provide a comprehensive, expert service of advice and guidance to all areas of the business in order to enable the capability of Managers in dealing with all people matters.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Support the HR Business Partners with the implementation of organisational change outcomes for people including restructures, changes to T&C's, redeployment, outplacement, redundancy and TUPE transfers, and manage any ER issues that arise as a result of any organisational change.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to line managers on a range of standard and non-standard Employee Relations issues, supporting the development of organisational capability in managing these issues.
• Proactively use management information to identify employee relations issues, including absence trends, attrition, development, engagement and attraction strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a HR Adviser role or equivalent.
• Must have extensive experience in ER Casework. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
