Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Newcastle, are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their Human Resources operations.        

Position: HR Business Partner
Rate: £20 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (January 2026) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• You’ll work as part of a wider HR team and HRD department to integrate business goals with our people strategy – playing a part in creating high-performing teams, reducing attrition, and attracting top talent.

Job Responsibilities: 

• As a Business Partner you’ll provide invaluable support to your stakeholders through your involvement with skills and talent mapping, effective people management, supporting and enabling change, and using data and insights to find evidence-based solutions to problems and to make continuous improvements.
• You’ll personally embrace change, remaining open to new and different ways of working and supporting our customers in that process.
• You’ll follow the CIPD principles that work matters, people matter and professionalism matters, in all that you do.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a HR Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Hold a qualification in Coaching and mentoring, and/or be a trained mediator.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
