Short Brief/Requirement:
Programme of work to create the Mayoral Combined County Authority as part of Devolution across Hampshire and the Solent requires a Project Support Office as part of the PMO team


Key Responsibilities:

• Working with Project and Programme Managers and other team members to produce and collate documents in a timely manner.
• To support the team in the planning of projects and programmes, including research, benchmarking and baselining.
• Facilitate the delivery of key project and programme meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, writing accurate minutes and actions and tracking actions.
• To proactively monitor project actions and progress, including appropriate escalations, or where possible, proactive resolution of issues.
• To collate, interpret and present data, into an appropriate format.
• To monitor and update the RAID (risk, issue, assumptions and dependencies) log and follow-up with RAID item owners on effective resolutions.

Job Requirements:

• Have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Project Support Officer or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Level 4 ‘Associate Project Management’ Level 4 apprenticeship or educated to A Level or equivalent
• Comfortable and competent to communicate, support and co-ordinate with senior level stakeholders across multiple organisations
• Experienced and capable in SharePoint (reporting, document management and site updates) , MS Project/Planner and Office 365
