Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their team based in Winston-Salem, NC.

• PAY RATE: $18 - £22 per hour

JOB ROLE

To join their Accounts Payable team, my client is looking for someone who is driven and meticulous. The ideal applicant will be in charge of accurately, effectively, and professionally overseeing the company's accounts payable operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Process invoices for payment with accuracy.
• Check requests for correctness and appropriate approvals, and review and validate invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and promptly address any inconsistencies.
• Keep your accounts payable records and files up to date and well-organized.
• Verify adherence to the company's payables policies and processes.
• Prepare accounts payable reports and reconciliations to help with month-end closing.
• Resolve payment or invoice concerns by having good communication with management, internal departments, and vendors.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Strong accounts payable experience is necessary.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Strong time-management and organizing abilities.
• The capacity to regularly fulfill deadlines and operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with Sage/MAS software is preferred.
