Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hammersmith. Are looking for a AFEO Procurement and Resettlement Officer (accommodation for ex-offenders) to join their organisation.

Job Role: AFEO Procurement and Resettlement Officer (accommodation for ex-offenders)
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Location: Hammersmith
Office Based/Hybrid: 2 days in the office
Rate of Pay: £28.36 p/h umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

• The role is based in Housing Solutions and will deliver a bespoke procurement and hand-holding resettlement service, ensuring that ex-offenders’ placements into private rented accommodation is suitable, affordable and co-ordinated across all partner agencies.
• The role will also provide ongoing tenancy sustainment for the duration of all tenancies, minimising the risk of tenancy breakdown and preventing repeat homelessness.
• Provide a bespoke hand-holding resettlement and tenancy sustainment service to ensure that the ex-offenders’ placement into accommodation in the private rented sector is co-ordinated across all partner agencies

Job Requirements:

• Have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a AFEO Procurement and Resettlement Officer or equivalent.
•  Valid DBS
• Experience of working with statutory and non-statutory partners involved with ex-offenders such as the Prison Service, Probation Service, Substance Misuse providers, Mental Health services and other relevant stakeholders.
