Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Housing Association, who are looking for a Governance Partner to join their team. 

Position: Governance Partner        
Rate: £46,330  
Location: Fully remote with occasional office travel to South-West London
Work Type: Fixed-term Contract (6 months)

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Support the governance lead to implement Group's government arrangements that support a control framework, support a positive image of the association and are compliant. 
• Advise senior executives on practical interpretation of standing orders and recommend changes where necessary. 
• Provide governance advice to boards and committees and provide administrative support where needed.
• Lead on general meetings. 
• Assist with maintenance of statutory and entity registers. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Strong experience and understanding of governance work in a regulated industry and stakeholder management. 
• Previous housing experience. 
• High attention to detail.
• Good understanding of IT (particularly Word and Excel).
• Previous experience of supporting boards and/or committees.
