Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their building surveying operations.   

Position: Senior Surveyor
Rate: £44 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  

Job Responsibilities: 

• To effectively manage surveyors to plan, procure and administer the day to day surveying and technical functions of the service, which includes legal disrepair and arbitration, HIA and adaptations.
• Play a leading role in the development of the team’s operational and management strategy, improvement of systems, policies and procedures. 
• To effectively manage a team of Building Surveyors, Legal Disrepair Surveyors and administrative staff, helping to develop their skills to satisfy the key business activities

Personal Specification:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Senior Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. 
• Qualified as a surveyor
• Experience of using PDA
• Experience of using NHF codes
• Experience of managing surveyors
