Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy investment firm in London , are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their in-house team.

Position: Residential Conveyancer 
Location:  Nottingham 
Salary: Market Rate
Hours: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm

Purpose:

You will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring the highest level of client care and service delivery. The role also involves working closely with estate agents, clients, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Key Reposnablities:

• Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, and plot purchases.
• Prepare and submit necessary searches and documentation.
• Deal with all aspects of the conveyancing process including enquiries, exchange, completion, and post-completion tasks such as SDLT, Companies House filings, and file closure.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other third parties.
• Prepare standard contract documentation and related legal paperwork.
• Actively seek and convert new business opportunities and quotations.
• Promote cross-referrals to other departments across the firm.
• Stay up to date with changes in conveyancing law and practice.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, financial controls, and case management workflows

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience of managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with new build and plot purchase transactions is desirable.
• Confident in generating business and nurturing client relationships.
• A proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Knowledge of legal case management systems and billing procedures.
