Location: Hampshire
Duration: 3 Months
Hours: 37 Hours Per week
Rate: £30.13

Purpose of the Role: 

To assist with the coordination of planned maintenance services for all areas within Capital Assets. To assist with the management of a professional, customer focused building maintenance service in order to deliver a safe and reliable environment which will fulfil the current and future requirements of the organisation.To manage delegated improvement, repair and maintenance projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• To foster and maintain collaborative ways of working and develop effective working partnership / customer relationships both within the organisation and externally
• To assist in preparing for and successfully meeting the challenge of Best Value in so far as it may affect the function of the po
• To be wholly accountable to the Senior Building Surveyor for assisting in supervising the unit, managing financial & physical resources effectively and monitor and review its achievement against service and business aims

• Knowledge and experience of building defects and contract management.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working within building maintenance.
• Qualification in a construction related discipline equivalent to or higher than ONC in Building Studies and preferably have a qualification equivalent to HNC Building Studies/Construction.
• A desire to maintain and develop knowledge through continuing professional development.
• A Sound working knowledge of legislation relating to: Employment, Procurement, Asbestos, Legionella, Gas, Electricity, H&S, Construction design and management, Disabled access, Equal rights etc. etc.
