Position: IT Support Officer
Salary: £26.11 Per Hour via Umbrella
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Location: North London
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working opportunities

Purpose:

• We are looking for an experienced IT Support Officer to join the Infrastructure and Technology Group  at the client site working within the Helpdesk and Support team.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide cover and/Or work on projects outside normal working hours (08:00 to 18:00) or on occasion at weekends.
• Accurately and clearly document fixes to technical issues and update the it knowledge base, enabling their colleagues to quickly resolve any future occurrences of similar issues using this documentation.
• Take ownership of and resolve calls in line with service level agreement(s).
• Provide on-site support across all sites supported by the shared service.
• Build and/or delivery of end user equipment, collection of equipment for repair or disposal, office moves.
• Work on technical projects implementing changes to the shared service infrastructure.
• Be part of virtual teams working on specific assignments.
• Provide cover for colleagues in other teams as and when required.

Essential skills required:

• Experience of working in a technically complex it environment.
• Experience of supporting customers both face to face and over the phone itil foundation qualification general understanding of network infrastructures such as tcp/Ip and dhcp knowledge of microsoft active directory, exchange and office 365 user management.
• Experience of using microsoft office suite (Word, excel etc) experience of troubleshooting printer, hardware issues & ios devices
• Experience of working with Local Authorties and Councils.
