Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Warwickshire, are looking for an experienced Housing Strategy & Enabling Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing strategy operations.   

Position: Housing Strategy & Enabling Officer
Rate:  Negotiable (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (September 2025) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• You'll be pivotal in developing and implementing housing strategies, enabling new affordable housing, and understanding diverse housing needs.

Job Responsibilities: 

• You'll also manage key relationships and negotiations with partners to maximise housing resources and support the strategic housing objectives.
• Lead the development and monitoring of housing strategies, policies, and action plans.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders to address affordable housing needs.
• Oversee affordable housing negotiations, ensuring compliance with Section 106 agreements.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Housing Strategy & Enabling Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
