Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing management operations.  

Position: Housing Officer
Rate: £27 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To provide a customer focused, proactive and high-quality tenancy/leasehold, neighbourhood management service to general needs and sheltered residents.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the day to day management of a patch of tenancies, leases, and licences, to include sheltered housing, to ensure all agreements are adhered to and action is taken to address breaches where appropriate.
• To identify fire safety issues on our estates and in resident homes, to give advice and report issues to appropriate departments to ensure risk is reduced and we comply with guidelines and best practice.
• To plan, co-ordinate and undertake a tenancy audit of your patch, visiting all properties within an agreed timeframe to build our business intelligence of the people and properties we manage.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Housing Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
