Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in South Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Planning Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their customer service operations.  

Position: Planning Support Officer
Rate: £17.52 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (September 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To schedule & dispatch work electronically to individual craft operatives of Construction Services.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To electronically schedule, allocate & dispatch work to all operatives & liaise with operational managers & individual or groups of operatives to reschedule work in an efficient manner.
• To liaise with customers & respond to their enquiries.
• To receive calls & enquiries directly from customers & partners; analyse information and liaise with other staff members to resolve complaints & enquiries & to assist in responding to board and council member.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Planning Support Officer role or equivalent.
• 4 GCSE’s (Grade A – C) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of working within a customer focussed service delivery organisation.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
