Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority based in Avon, are looking for an experienced Head of Strategic Asset Management to join their team.

Position: Head of Strategic Asset Management
Salary: £700.00 per day
Contract Duration: 10 Months with possible exentsion
Location: Avon

Purpose:

• Lead and manage the Asset Management, Building Safety, and Energy & Renewables teams, setting strategic direction and ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the Asset Management, Building Safety, Energy, and Renewables Team.
• Development and implementation of investment strategies to maximise the value and performance of assets.
• Contributing towards budget annual setting and delivery of yearly housing investment planning.
• Lead the management of the building safety service.
• Led and supported the delivery of the renewable energy team.
  The provision of strategic directors and leadership for a holistic approach to asset management in line with legal and regulatory requirements, resident expectations and the scope of the business plan.

Experience and qualifications required:

• Relevant professional qualification in a property related field or relevant experience in property management and evidence of continuing professional and managerial development.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to lead and manage, inspiring and motivating people across a wide-ranging services to ensure effective Strategic service development and operational delivery of those services.
