Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Littlehampton. Are looking for a Gas Engineer to join their organisation.

Job Role: Gas Engineer (Servicing Outside)
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: Until August 2025 (Possible extension)
Number of Positions: 2 positions available
Location: Littlehampton
Office Based/Hybrid: Fully onsite
Short Brief/Requirement: Must be qualified to work in a high rise building
Driving Licence Required: Yes
Vehicle Access Required: TBC but likely to be provided with a vehicle
Rate of Pay: £20.96 p/h umbrella inside IR35
Pay Negotiable: Possibly

Purpose:
To provide an effective Gas Operations service that meets contract and customer expectations, to include gas installation, servicing and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, fault fixing, maintenance duties, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
• Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years experience within a Gas Engineer role or equivalent.
• ACS (previously ACOPS) Natural Gas Domestic qualification
• Full, current driving licence
