JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE: $70,000 - $90,000 Per Annum
• WORK TYPE: Permanent

JOB ROLE

The Associate Attorney is in charge of the firm's Residential Portfolio Management cases. On behalf of your clients, you will apply your legal expertise and experience to assist with minor claims, code enforcement, and eviction proceedings.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and approving pleas pertaining to eviction.
• Manage minor claims issues, especially contested ones, code enforcement, and all facets of eviction.
• Involvement in depositions, hearings over the phone, mediations, and in-person hearings.
• Frequent updates and meets with clients.
• Additional responsibilities and unique projects as given.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Doctorate in law.
• Three to five years of eviction-related pleading experience.
• A member of the South Carolina and North Carolina Bar Associations in good standing.
• The capacity to prioritise and oversee a heavy caseload.
