Position: Advocate
Salary: £55.00 per hour
Contract Duration: Contract
Location: South London

Purpose:

• Seeking an experienced Childcare Advocate to join a busy South London Local Authority/

Job Responsibilities: 

You will join our Residential & Commercial Property team, working on a broad range of matters including:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Re-mortgages
• Acquisition and disposal of land, plots, and units
• Lease extensions
• General conveyancing matters including probate cases

Job Requirements:

• Ability and experince in working with other advocates and in a tea to ensure service is delivered to the highest standard.
• Qualified barrister or Solicitor with higher rights of audience.
• Significnt expereince of undertaking advocay a all levels o court including higer court advocacy, including contested hearings requiring the cross examintion of withnesses in court.
• Specicalist knowledge of English law and practice in relation to child protection and adoption.
• An ability to acquire and maintain knowldege in relation to community care and education.
