Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing, Neighbourhoods & Building Services operations.  

Position: Project Manager
Rate: £29 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• The post holder is responsible for the project management of multiple and diverse workstreams across Environment and Neighbourhoods (E&N) and working across all council departments and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and resources to ensure that the Council’s strategic objectives are met and change is successfully delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading on projects and programmes on behalf of the Strategic Head of Policy Performance and Resilience and Business & Delivery Manager on a range of corporate and departmental themes and areas.
• Establishing and leading on the departmental project management framework, tracking projects, resourcing projects as required, reporting on project progress to the Directorate Management Team (DMT) using various project templates and plans.
• Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers conduct research, analyse information needs and define functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, case files, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Project Manager role or equivalent.
• Advanced and accredited project and programme management such as a Prince2 or Agile or equivalent significant experience.
• Advanced IT skills especially in Microsoft Office and other analytical and data tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
