Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy housing association in East London, are looking for an experienced electrician to join their team and play a crucial role in their Fire Servicing & Repair operations.  

Position: Electrician (Fire Servicing and Repair)
Rate: £22.27 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (June 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To provide an effective fire servicing, maintenance and repairs service that meets contract and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out fire servicing, repair and installation works in compliance with relevant regulations to ensure the Group's properties are compliant and safe.
• Carry out maintenance of systems including Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, Fire Shutters and Curtains to ensure safe and compliant properties.
• Conduct remedial works and maintenance of fire and life safety systems up to 240v, this includes remedial works to Emergency Lighting to ensure the Group's properties are compliant and safe.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Electrician role or equivalent.
• City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 as Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred)
• Fire Industry Association qualification (QCF level 3) - Desirable
• Full, current Driving Licence
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
