Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Employment Support Worker to join their team and play a crucial role in their Employment Services operations.  
 
Position: Employment Support Worker
Rate: £15 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• In this rewarding full-time role, you will play a key role in empowering and upskilling supported employees with disabilities, learning difficulties, and long-term health conditions within their employment.
• Your responsibilities include providing 1:1 support, assisting with onboarding, online training, and ensuring targets are met within the domestics, gardening, and factory settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised 1:1 support to employees based on their support plan and personal development plan.
• Ensure employees maintain good timekeeping and punctuality.
• Foster professional behaviours and attitudes in employees.
• Utilise coaching and mentoring techniques to support employees’ professional and personal growth.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Employment Support Worker role or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach depending on the needs of the individual you are supporting.
• Experience of working with individuals with support needs.
• Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English.
