Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Property Services Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their property services operations.  

Position: Property Services Officer
Rate: £23.61 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension 
Working Pattern: Hybrid (4 days per week in the office) 

Purpose:

• To operate as a member of the Property Services team in providing strong administrative support and customer service in relation to repairs and maintenance of the housing stock.

Key Responsibilities: 

• To provide a high quality and efficient scheduling, office and property management administration service.
• Assist with the effective and efficient running of the Property Services Team.
• Assist with raising works orders for repairs and pest control. 
• Scheduling work as per priority and workstream efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Provide strong administrative support to the Property Services Team such as utilising IT software for data management, data entry, filing, assisting with the management of central shared drive for electronic document storage and minute taking.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Property Services Officer role or equivalent.
• Experience of property services related procedures.
• Excellent communication skills: able to write clear and concise letters, keep records and carry out all related administration tasks.
