Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy housing association, are looking for an experienced People Change Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their Human resources operations.   

Position: People Change Partner
Rate: £51,775 per annum
Contract Duration: Permanent 
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working 
Location: Working from either Devizes, Andover, Frome, Ferndown, Wareham or Weymouth

Purpose:

• A member of the wider People team, the People Change Partner will work closely with the Strategic Business Partner and the People Co Ordinator for change to provide expertise to Customer Services leadership teams as they go through a large-scale change programme - Customer Services Modernisation Plan.
• The People Change Partner will be responsible for providing end to end support for the successful delivery of organisational change management including restructures and TUPE transfers through effective engagement, cultural development, and communication strategies.
• The role will work collaboratively with the wider People team and leaders to facilitate positive change management and enhance colleague experience during transfers and support with effective internal communications whilst promoting wellbeing and sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all consultation documentation for the organisational process is legally compliant.
• To continue to support and maximise on employment engagement initiatives during any organisational change and to implement processes to mitigate the risks.
• To support leaders with the organisational change process to ensure appropriate timescales are adhered to at all stages and where appropriate colleague representatives are appointed, trained and communicated with.
• Working with the L&OD team in identifying, developing, and implementing learning strategies and programmes relating to organisational change processes.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with other teams within the People Directorate to develop an approach that provides the best service to our internal customers in relation to organisational change.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to leaders in Customer Services including the supporting of training initiatives and the continual development of management toolkits to minimise the risk to the business during any change initiative.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on employment case law and associated legislative changes and effectively utilise this knowledge and insight within your team and the work we do as people team.
• Ensure organisational change cases are recorded, tracked, and proactively managed to conclusion or hand off to the relevant Strategic Business Partner.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a People Change Partner role or equivalent.
• CIPD Level 7 / HR Management Degree or equivalent related qualification.
• Chartered MCIPD status.
• Extensive knowledge of employment law and best practice to enable leaders to effectively manage their teams.
• Workplace Mediation (ACAS or equivalent) and/or Restorative Practice experience.
