Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to join their team and play a crucial role in their Damp, Mould & Condensation operations.  

Position: Painter/Decorator
Rate: £19.03 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (September 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• The postholder will be responsible for the decoration, internal and external, of Council properties, public buildings and schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Painter to work within the damp, mould, and condensation team, carrying out mould treatments.
• To ensure as far as reasonably practicable the satisfaction of the client or tenant with regard to quality of work, prompt services and conduct wherever work is to be carried out.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Joiner role or equivalent.
• City & Guilds/NVQ III in appropriate trade or equivalent.
• Must possess a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
