Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role in their Assets, Regeneration and Construction Services operations.  

Position: Plumber
Rate: £19.95 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (June 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To be able to provide a professional, quality of craftsmanship and customer orientated delivery of service to all Building Works internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out all aspects of plumbing work on maintenance, repairs and Construction projects to Council dwellings, schools and public buildings.
• To install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers and wash basin.
• To maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum level so that service efficiency is achieved.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Joiner role or equivalent.
• Minimum NVQ level 2 in Plumbing.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in relation to plumbing work.
• Evidence of carrying out regular domestic plumbing work.
