Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Northwest England, are looking for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their  maintenance surveying operations.  

Position: Maintenance Surveyor
Rate: £21.48 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (June 2026) with Possible Extension 

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll provide predictable, reliable and consistent outcomes to all customers, colleagues and stakeholders in the delivery of your work as a surveyor.

Primarily you’ll be aligned to one of three work streams within the Maintenance function;

• Voids and Responsive
• Safety and Compliance
• Planned Works

Estimating – preparation of tenders, negotiations of contract sums and general estimating in the following areas:

• New build contracts including new housing
• Maintenance works within the scope of the Building Maintenance Term Contract
• Re-chargeable works
• Small works as required by other departments
• Partnering contracts
• Lead on the procurement of contracts

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Maintenance Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Building Surveying Experience and ideally hold a RICS or CIOB professional registration.
• Experience of property condition and dilapidation surveys and specify remedial works.
• Current knowledge of building repairs, construction and safety.
