Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Central London, are looking for an experienced Change Agent to join their team and play a crucial role in their Delivery of the Change Plans operations. 

Position: Change Agent
Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (1 year contract) with Possible Extension 
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days, possibly 2 days) 

Purpose:

• Reporting to the OCM Lead and working as a member of the Programme Change Team, need to understand and work with the change and technical teams to uncover the people change impacts for Schools including HR and finance system throughout the programme. 
• Working with colleagues from across the Programme and Schools to create an empowering culture where transformation, innovation, creativity and change are integral parts of an individuals, teams, services and departments work and that sharing of good practice is in place both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of the Change Plans: tailoring and specifying technical implications prior to go live to help in the delivering plans for managing change with the Schools.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns and providing updates to ensure their alignment with the change objectives. Establish mechanisms for receiving and acting on stakeholder feedback to the technical teams.
• Development and Readiness of the impacted School Staff: Support the development of the change network by being the representative for Schools by participating in UAT, training, workshops and communications, when required.
• Change Coaching: Develop and deliver change specific coaching/training within schools to ensure they have the right skills and behaviours to enable the change. Ensure employees are prepared for and engaging with any technical training provided.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify and address potential obstacles to successful change adoption.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Change Agent role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development. 
• Relevant experience in delivering people change and transformation, preferably in an SAP programme.
• Working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Experience of successfully managing change, change impact assessments and change benefits to ensure change readiness at multiple levels.
• Experience of engaging with stakeholders to define training needs at a range of levels and their implications for learning.
• Knows how to manage change using ADKAR methodology.
