Job Title: Foul Water Treatment Contract Manager
Reports to: Head of Estate Services
Location: Remote (with required travel)
Salary: £55,873.00
  
Role Purpose
  
The Foul Water Treatment Contract Manager will oversee the business portfolio for all sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and septic tanks across operational regions. The successful candidate will play an active role in the Foul Water Management team, contribute to contract management, and ensure all treatment plants comply with environmental regulations while remaining within budget.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Manage sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and septic tanks across all operational areas.
• Ensure all cyclical, maintenance, and reactive works are delivered efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with Environmental Agency discharge license agreements.
• Oversee job raising, service chargeable budgets, and financial reconciliations.
• Foster strong relationships with contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification or experience in wastewater management.
• Proven contract management experience in a commercial business environment.
• Track record of delivering performance to deadlines with high-quality outcomes.
• Strong understanding of health and safety, waste disposal, and environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting COSHH assessments, risk assessments, and implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to interpret contract drawings and implement required changes
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
