Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast England, are looking for an experienced Resourcing Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their human resources operations. 

Position: Resourcing Officer
Salary: £16.63 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension
Working Pattern: Initially Hybrid then Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Resourcing Advisor in the implementation and future management of the new in-house ATS. Providing system support and recruiting advice, to ensure all users are trained and efficient within the recruitment process.
• To assist the Resourcing Advisor in providing an efficient, effective, professional and comprehensive ‘frontline’ recruitment service to Managers, ensuring a continuous, solution focused recruitment service.
• Support the end to end recruitment administration process, including vetting such as DBS, right to work, reference and medical clearance in order to initiate offer letters and contracts according to the role terms and conditions of employment.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years experience within a Resourcing Officer
  role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Excellent recruitment experience of end to end processes evidenced through experience, professional development or study.
• Excellent knowledge of an ATS functionality and requirements.
• Very competent IT user including the use of candidate databases and leading applicant tracking systems, very competent user of Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Visio, Teams and SharePoint).
