Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southwest England, are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their Human Resources operations. 

Position: HR Business Partner
Salary: £46 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract: Temporary (August 2025) with Possible Extension
Hybrid: 2 to 3 Days in the Office

Key Responsibilities:

• To work in partnership with leaders and key stakeholders to shape, develop and deliver HR strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
• Provide professional and insightful HR advice and guidance to the organisation’s senior leaders, driving HR excellence and fostering a culture of inclusivity and continuous performance improvement.
• Provide professional expertise to leaders and managers on particularly complex/sensitive employee relations issues, promoting best practice in people management.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years experience within a HR Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Chartered MCIPD or equivalent with demonstrable level of expertise relevant to the role.
• Extensive experience in a senior HR role managing complex and challenging employee relations issues involving a range of stakeholders, including confidently handling challenging players and dealing – and wherever possible resolving – conflict.
