Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast London, are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team and play a crucial role in their electrical operations. 

Position: Electrician
Rate: £32 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 months) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake highly skilled activities across a wide range of electrical jobs in either domestic properties, ensuring that the quality of works meet current QCC requirements. To keep accurate records of works undertaken and materials used.
• To have a concise understanding of Domestic Electrical works in order to carry out repairs and installations as needed. Certificate work when completed.
• To operate and maintain electrical testing equipment ensuring annual calibration is carried out. Following testing decide on appropriate actions including, if necessary, evacuation of premises and involvement of direct emergency services.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within an Electrician role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• To hold appropriate certification to obtain “Electrician” status including City and Guilds 2391 – Inspection and Test Certification.
