Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hampshire (Southeast England), are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their surveying operations. 

Position: Asbestos Surveyor
Rate: £200 a day (Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (May 2025) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on all aspects of asbestos surveying and achieve high quality standards in building works and associated services.
• Prepare asbestos reports for surveyed properties, undertaking the preparatory, planning and monitoring work necessary to meet the individual requirements of each project or scheme.
• Provide asbestos expertise to planned maintenance projects, refurbishment projects, communal areas, and general property stock surveying. Including bulk sampling.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within an Asbestos Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4 (C) or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
• Relevant Asbestos Qualifications.
