Position: Director of Fundraising & Communications
Rate: £60,000 - 70,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
   
   
Key Responsibilities:

• You will lead on creating a strong fundraising culture across the organisation and build a fundraising mindset into our marketing and communications.
• You will lead the development and implementation of a new fundraising strategy, including working with teams across the organisation to build a funding pipeline that not only sustains our current services in the longer term but increases income in line with our strategy for growth.
• This will include diversifying our income through generating a mix of funds from trusts and foundations, corporate partners, individual giving and community fundraising.
• You will also support the development and delivery of our Communications Strategy. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Charity or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a Head of/Director role or equivalent.
• Previous work experience, in particular gained within a Fundraising & Communications. 
• Excellent customer service skills with proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), in particular when resolving complaints and other matters.
