Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local charity in Croydon, are looking for an experienced Counselling Administrator to join their team and play a crucial role in their sexual violence operations. 

Position: Counselling Administrator
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent (3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable to the CYP Operations Coordinator, the CYP administrator is a full-time fixed term role with responsibility for supporting the smooth running of the Children and Young People Counselling department.
• Receiving and responding to emails, filing records, and passing on information. 
• Maintain client records in accordance with data protection.
• To take initial queries from survivors, their parents/carers and professionals.
• To have regular telephone contact with survivors and their parents/carers liaising around access to appointments.

Programmed Comprise Of: 

• Counselling
• Group therapy
• Play therapy
• Self Esteem Workshops
• Training and Consultancy for professionals on the impacts of sexual violence
• Prevention and education workshops with young people
• Advocacy support & information for survivors going through the Criminal Justice System.
• Outreach for survivors for who face additional marginalisation. or additional barriers to accessing support, and ISVA Services.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within the public sector or similar such as Local Authorities, NHS, Charities and etc. 
• Senior Leadership Management programme experience in a non-profit, educational, or public service environment (typically 6-8 years)
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience in a non-profit, educational or public service environment. 
• Understanding of Violence Against Women & Girls Sector.
