Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local charity in Croydon, are looking for an experienced Director of Programmes to join their team and play a crucial role in their sexual violence operations. 

Position: Director of Programmes
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent (3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:

• We are looking for a Director of Programmes who can bring a wealth of senior programmes management expertise to manage large contracts and multidisciplinary teams, empowering managers to positively expand their services for our clients.
• The postholder will join a newly formed Senior Leadership Team, along with the CEO, Director of People, Director of Fundraising & Communications and Director of Finance. We are seeking a dynamic, leader to ensure the quality and compliant delivery of the charities current client facing services and programmes, as well as the delivery of the organisations’ future growth.
• The right candidate will ensure all programme delivery is developed and maintained through the prioritisation of safeguarding of all clients, partners, staff and volunteers in line with internal and external ethical frameworks such as the BACP and NHS guidelines.
• The right candidate will be visionary and strategic whilst creating and managing operational systems and processes. Above all, the successful candidate will be committed to our feminist cause in supporting women and girls who have suffered rape and sexual abuse.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within the public sector or similar such as Local Authorities, NHS, Charities and etc. 
• Senior Leadership Management programme experience in a non-profit, educational, or public service environment (typically 6-8 years)
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience in a non-profit, educational or public service environment. 
• Understanding of Violence Against Women & Girls Sector.
