Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a top 25 CPA and business advisory firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Manager to join their team based in the Torrance area.

• PAY RATE: $110,000 - $145,000  
• WORK TYPE: Permanent
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time
• LOCATION: Torrance, California

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:  

• Oversees intricate audits and employee engagements to meet goals pertaining to employee growth, customer requirements, and engagement profitability.
• Describe the goals of the engagement, the problems, the conclusions, and the suggestions in various customer scenarios.
• Examines financial statements and work papers before involving a partner.
• Demonstrates integrity in managing client relationships by keeping an eye on their needs and adding value to their professional services.
• Assesses the advantages, disadvantages, and dangers of potential solutions for issues or demands of clients.
• Offers suggestions to help the audit practice grow.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Requires at least five years of expertise in public accounting auditing.
• It is necessary to have a current CPA license.
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles and auditing requirements.
• Capacity to build and preserve productive working connections with clients and colleagues.
• Familiarity with audits in the following sectors: employee benefit plans, distribution, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations.
