Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Top 25 accounting firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced State & Local Tax Senior Associate to join their team based in the Phoenix, AZ area.
  
JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE: $80,000 - $98,000 Per Annum
• WORK TYPE: Permanent 
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time
• LOCATION: Phoenix, Arizona

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Set up a kickoff meeting with the primary client to discuss the objectives, schedule, and expectations of the engagement.
• You will collaborate with both non-profit and for-profit organisations.
• Lead the audit team's engagement meeting and impart the information you learnt from the client call. Here, you will establish deadlines, delegate responsibilities, and establish the audit's objectives.
• Interview the CEO, accountants, and other staff members about fraud as needed.
• After fieldwork is over, provide financial analysis to help clients with their accounting and internal control processes.
• Coach employees, provide audit-related training, and work together to decide how to manage the engagement's various facets.

• You are an expert at multitasking, and you have never failed to fulfil a deadline.
• You are exposed to and knowledgeable about a wide range of industries.
• Being a team player, you prefer working with others to working alone in a cube.
• You strictly adhere to client confidentiality and hold yourself to the highest professional standards.
• You also possess a current CPA license, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and at least two to three years of experience working as a public accountant.
