PAY RATE: £38 -£42 per hour

JOB SUMMARY
The Social Worker to work within a safeguarding child exploitation team. 
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Working within area of Child Exploitation 
• To participate in the effective delivery of community based services to Children and Families and be responsible for contributing to assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating action on treatment; negotiating for and co-ordinating the application of resources and seeking modifications of behaviour when required, particularly in relation to children in need and the child protection arena.
• Summary of some of the key aspects of the role:
  - Young People's Service, specialising in Serious Youth Violence, Contextual Safeguarding, Missing, Exploited, Trafficked, Risk of Remand into Local Authority Care and risk of family breakdown and any other work that aligns with the current criteria and scope of the service.

 
  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Relevant Qualifications, with a registered body in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting
• Must be registered with Social work England
• Must have statutory safeguarding experience as a qualified Social Worker.
• Must have been Social Worker qualified, Social Work England Registered and practicing for no less than 4 years.
• Must have relevant experience of working in the area of child exploitation.
