About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Tester, must have a strong Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Previous experience working in Local Authority, Previous Test Manager experience and
proven experience managing UAT activities for complex software such as CRM. We need someone who has extensive experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships within complex projects.
Use of one or more established project and programme methodologies e.g. Agile, Prosci Practitioner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Previous experience working in a Local Authority setting.
• Demonstrated Test Manager experience.
• Proven expertise in managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for complex software systems, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships within complex project environments.
• Familiarity with one or more established project and programme methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prosci Practitioner).

Key Responsibilities:

1. UAT Planning and Strategy:
   
   • Develop and implement comprehensive UAT plans and strategies aligned with project goals.
2. Stakeholder Management:
   
   • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for testing activities.
   • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns effectively.
3. Test Script Creation and Execution:
   
   • Design detailed test scripts based on project requirements.
   • Oversee the execution of test scripts to ensure functionality and performance meet specified standards.
4. Issue Identification and Resolution:
   
   • Identify, document, and resolve issues discovered during testing phases.
   • Collaborate with development teams to track and fix defects.
5. Support and Engagement of Testers:
   
   • Provide guidance and support to testers to ensure thorough and effective testing.
   • Foster an environment of collaboration and accountability within the testing team.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
   
   • Generate comprehensive test reports, including findings, progress updates, and recommendations.
   • Maintain clear documentation of testing processes and results for audit and review purposes.
7. Continuous Improvement Management:
   
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the testing lifecycle.
   • Implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
