Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in London, are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their home ownership services.  

Position: Building Surveyor
Rate: £350.00 per dy (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (June 2025) with Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities:

• The post holder is responsible for the works within the LBHF repairs team and that work will cover the following areas:-The post holder is responsible for the works within the LBHF repairs team and that work will cover the following areas:-
• Disrepair work
• Refurbishment work (such and kitchen, bathroom and window renewals etc).
• Void Works
• Complex Repair Works
• Day to Day Repairs
• Damp and Mould Works
• The pre/mid and post inspection of any of the above.

Job Requirements:

• The post holder must hold either a degree in building surveying and or the equivalent expereince in delivering the disrepair service.
• They need to demonstrate at least 3-5 years management expereince.
• Extensive experience of construction and a working knowledge of domestic mechnical and electrical installations
• Good working knowledge of current and pprirate legistaltion regarding electrical and mechnical works.
