Position: Food Safety Officer
Rate: £40 per hour
Contract Duration: 3 - 6 months (with possible extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
   
   
Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced Food Safety Officer officer required until end of the Financial Year. Cat C - E rated inspections and newly registered. Must have recent local government experience in Food Safety enforcement. Full time hours - 35 per week. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a Food Safety Officer role or equivalent.
• Previous work experience, in particular gained within a Environmental Health environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), in particular when resolving complaints and other matters.
