Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority are looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join their team and play a crucial role in their transformational operations. 

Position: Locum Associate Educational Psychologist
Rate: £500-550 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time
Contract Duration: Temporary
Working Pattern: Fully Remote or Face to Face


Key Responsibilities:

• To continue to improve and to ensure the best possible outcomes for every single child and young person
• The role will involve writing Statutory Psychological Advice as part of Education Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA).
• To work directly or remotely with children and young people across the east of England.
• To work with children and young people with SEN/Disability, and detailed knowledge of research informed interventions and approaches that prevent and meet SEN.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years’ experience within an Educational Psychologist role or equivalent. 
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• British Psychological Society (BPS) recognised first degree in psychology.
• A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, and eligibility for chartered status within the British Psychological Society.
• HCPC registration essential.
• Detailed understanding and awareness of relevant SEN legislation.
• Experience of working with children and young people with SEN/Disability, and detailed knowledge of research informed interventions and approaches that prevent and meet SEN.
