Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Minibus Driver to join their team.  

Position: Minibus Driver
Rate: £15.25 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temporary (December 2025) With Possible Extension
Working Pattern: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• To drive a minibus or a hire bus of similar size, for school travel purposes, transporting children to and from school as required. 
• To liaise with the School Travel Service and Courier Service line manager to provide a safe transport service in a relaxed and friendly manner and in accordance with MIDAS standards.
• To liaise with the School Travel Service regarding details of locations and times, dates and collection / drop off points.
• To take part in Health and Safety transport risk assessment of service users using the bus to ensure needs are met and risks minimised.

Job Requirements:

• English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or above.
• To be able to safely drive vehicles with a full and clean Driving Licence (including category B1) and in accordance with The Highway Code (including road safety and vehicle rules).
• Valid MIDAS training (or post subject to successful training following appointment).
• To be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and build excellent levels of customer satisfaction.
