Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Practice Accountancy, who are looking for a Personal Tax Assistant to join their team based in Staffordshire. 

Position: Personal Tax Assistant 
Rate: £23,000 - £28,000 
Location: Staffordshire      
Work Type: Permanent (remote after 12 months)  

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Preparing, submitting and reviewing self-assessment tax returns. 
• Keep communication levels high with clients, HMRC and colleagues via email or telephone. 
• Assist with tax planning and prepare tax calculations.  
• Assist senior management and accounts teams with tax queries. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• ATT Qualification or studying towards this. 
• Minimum two years experience in practice preparing tax returns. 
• Background in dealing with tax compliance. 
• Strong IT and time-management skills.
