Your New Company
Enjoy the benefits of working at a divisional level of a very large organisation. You'll enjoy the backing of the big company - good governance, great tools/technology, yet work in a small enough business (circa 200 staff) unit to make a real impact across the organisation and enjoy high visibility to the executive team. The Company is now 10 years old, continuing to expand both in Australia & New Zealand, in a consumer facing industry, very tangible and dynamic. The Company offers a consistent bonus program in addition to mid-market salaries and opportunities to grow within the business unit, or even the wider group of companies and/or group corporate. Day to the day the office environment is quite informal, open door policies, and a leadership team spread throughout the business locations.
Your New Role
Reporting directly to the divisional CFO, your role will work alongside the accounting team to provide finance business partnering services to the management/leadership group. Essentially, your role with deal with actuals (what happened and why), and more importantly drive a future view on business performance - budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. You'll be the key architect of financial planning systems, tools, and take the lead on new technologies and apply them to the finance function. This is a hands on role with excellent visibility across multiple functions and will be operating at a 'finance manager' type level in terms of responsibility and delivery expectations. Key stakeholders including the divisional managing director, CFO, operational leadership, heads of functions, and also engage with the parent company group level finance leaders as required.
Your Profile
To secure your place on the shortlist for this growth opportunity, you'll be able to demonstrate a powerful combination of commercial acumen, systems/tech proficiency, superior stakeholder engagement skills (finance + non-finance), and highly effective communication skills in person, via email, formal reporting writing, corporate presentations, and the ability to respond quickly + effectively to ad hoc requests. Typically, this type of experience would be gained through a minimum of 5 years corporate experience in medium to larger organisations, including time in operational management accounting and perhaps financial planning & analysis experience. It is expected you have a bachelor's degree in a related field, and qualified as a CA, CPA, or CIMA. Part qualified individuals will be considered if you are actively finishing and have the relevant experience required.
Your Application

When you join a growing organisation, your career prospects increase, and with your high performance background you'll be rewarded in bonuses and career progression over time. Please apply with your current CV/resume and if you want to include a cover letter/note, be sure to mention why you are applying, why this is a good fit for you, and what you'll be able to deliver - We're sure the CFO and MD can't wait to read it and see what your communication & influencing skills look like in reality!
