ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our client is a successful family business based both in Ashburton and Christchurch. They specialize in scrap metal, specialty metals and export these overseas. They have a large presence around Canterbury and are very involved in the industry.
They are after a receptionist to help within their Christchurch branch. This role would suit someone experienced in customer service/retail looking to advance their career in Administration.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Assist with cash handling, payments, record keeping, eg customers, suppliers and product details
-- Operation of the weighbridge and identify product type and weight (full training provided)
- Answering phones, emails and queries
- Organizing office supplies
- Developing a rapport with regular visitors
- Efficiently managing administrative tasks.
