Dry Table Timber Processor

About the Role
 
This is a hands-on timber processing role working as part of a Dry Table team, processing and preparing kiln-dried timber. The Dry Table team typically consists of 4-6 team members. The team leader is responsible for grading the timber, while other team members are responsible for pulling, stacking, and banding timber packs.
This is a physically demanding role that requires good fitness, stamina, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Pull, stack, and band kiln-dried timber
• Work as part of a 4-6 person Dry Table team
• Assist with processing and handling timber efficiently
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized work area
• Follow instructions from the Site Manager
• Complete other general duties around the site as required
• Treat all machinery, plant, and equipment with care
• Communicate and cooperate effectively with other team members

About You

• Be reliable and punctual
• Be physically fit and capable of handling timber throughout the day
• Have good stamina and be comfortable standing and working for extended periods
• Have good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
• Be comfortable working around machinery
• Have a positive, safety-first attitude
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Be a good team player with strong communication skills
• Be willing to learn and take direction
• Always act with respect, honesty, and integrity

Health & Safety Health & Safety is a key priority in this role. You will be expected to maintain a positive and considered approach to workplace safety, follow all site procedures, and work safely around machinery and equipment.
