Experienced Forklift Operator
�� Rolleston, Christchurch
�� Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 5:00pm
�� $26.00 - $27.00 per hour (depending on experience)
�� Temp to Permanent Opportunity

We're on the hunt for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy and growing Frame & Truss Manufacturing team based in Rolleston.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for safely moving timber and finished products around the yard while supporting production and dispatch. You'll be working with forklifts, handling long and awkward loads, so confidence and experience operating is essential.

About the Role

Working alongside the production team, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently by ensuring materials are where they need to be and products are loaded safely for dispatch.
There is also the opportunity to learn fabrication tasks and expand your skillset within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving long and awkward timber loads around the yard
• Restocking timber for the production team
• Organising and maintaining a tidy yard
• Assisting with dispatch operations
• Supporting the production team as required
• Opportunity to learn fabrication duties
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Current OSH Forklift Licence (F endorsement advantageous)
• Proven experience operating counterbalance  forklifts
• Confidence handling oversized, long, and awkward loads
• Previous experience in manufacturing, timber, frame & truss, or a similar environment is highly regarded
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment

• Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 5:00pm (while busy)
