Our client is a busy and well-established joinery manufacturer based in Yaldhurst, specialising in both residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Storeperson to join their team and support the efficient operation of their warehouse and production departments.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining an organised workspace, and has previous warehousing or inwards goods experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming goods
• Unloading and loading trucks safely and efficiently
• Completing general warehousing duties
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised inwards goods area
• Communicating effectively with production staff, drivers, and supervisors where required. 
• Sweeping, unloading production Scrap bins 
• Checking and processing delivery documentation and paperwork
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock takes
• Ensuring products are stored correctly and accurately recorded

About You 

• Previous experience in an inwards goods, stores, or warehousing position
• A current OSH Forklift Certificate
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment
• Willingness to help out in production/assit other areas
