About the Role :

Our client, based in Rolleston makes Rubisco Protein products from Lucerne. They are seeking reliable and physically fit farm hands to join the team during their busy season. This is a hands-on role based at their farm in Southbridge, with staff required to travel to Rolleston each day where transport will be provided to the farm. This is an immediate start opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and being part of a hardworking team.

There are two roles available, full time hours until end of may and a leave cover position, covering through April/May.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing various general labouring tasks around the farm
• Assisting with day-to-day farm operations
• Following all health & safety procedures and company policies
• Supporting the team with other duties as required
• Assist with the production of lucerne "juice" as this is used to make their products
• Assist within the plant and loading machines with products

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Strong commitment to workplace health & safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous farm hand experience/exposure  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Own transport to Rolleston

Hours of Work 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)
Split shifts (alternating weekly):

• Week 1: 6:30am – 3:30pm
• Week 2: 10:00am – 7:00pm
